Quarterly rounds are the core of the Quarterly Partnership and the reason facilities stop treating survey preparation as a once-a-year scramble.
What happens on each visit
- Follow-up on every open item from the previous visit
- Life Safety rounds: door assemblies, fire and smoke barriers, corridors, storage, egress
- Inspection, testing and maintenance log audits for every building system
- Spot checks on renovations, space changes and construction areas
- Written quarterly summary for your governing body and Environment of Care committee
Why quarterly
Most Life Safety requirements run on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual cycles. A quarterly cadence lines up with those cycles, so vendor reports are reviewed while they are current and deficiencies are closed inside the same quarter they are found.
Built on continuity
Every visit builds on the last. The facility history, open items and vendor calendar carry forward, so nothing is rediscovered from scratch and the governing body sees a consistent trend line quarter over quarter.
Frequently asked questions
Typically one day on site per facility, with the written summary delivered after the visit.
